COLLEGE AUDITION PRO

Auditioning for the top BFA or BA College Acting or Musical Theatre Programs?

Created in 2010 by Susan Woodell-Mascall, and joined by Keelin Woodell in 2012, The College Audition Pro Method has helped prepare over 600 students for the most important aspect of this application process – the auditions. These students have gained entrance to the top and most competitive Acting and Musical Theatre programs in the US.

Coaching - Counseling - Consulting

Audition Monologues

Each monologue is individualized and proprietary for that student. These pieces are personally selected and include Contrasting Contemporary pieces: Dramatic and Comedic and a Classical piece. Coaching sessions are over Zoom and in person..

Prescreens

As more programs have been forced to limit the rapidly growing number of students auditioning each year, pre-screen prep has become an integral part of CAP. Demystifying Prescreen requirements and filming the monologues helps relieve stress from this intensive process. Filming of Presceens is done in person or Zoom.

Audition Spreadsheet

Fitting in all your auditions can seem daunting, not to mention expensive. Your Audition Line-Up Spreadsheet contains all the specific Audition Requirements per school and suggested days and time slots to make travel logistics more affordable and less time consuming.

Vocal Coaches & College Counselors

College Audition Pro maintains an incredible network of outside resources which include professional help with essay writing, standardized test prep and support for other aspects of the college application. CAP also works closely with the top Vocal Coaches and is happy to refer students to those coaches.

The Best School List For You

Working together CAP will compile a list of auditon-based programs that are best suited to each student’s goals. We will discuss the difference between BA and BFA degrees along with Conservatory versus Conservatory Style Programs.

Mock Audition & SUTE

CAP prepares students thoroughly for every aspect of their audition by giving them priority in attending the Summer University Theatre Experience in Los Angeles. CAP also offers an optional Mock Audition.

CAP students have been accepted into the following schools:
